The RedNet D16R is a highly versatile 16-channel AES3 interface designed for integration into any Dante Audio-over-IP network. Housed in a 1U rackmount chassis, it supports independent gain controls for each input and output channel, enabling precise adjustment and calibration through RedNet Control software.
It features dual redundant power supplies and Ethernet connections that automatically switch in the event of a failure, ensuring uninterrupted operation in mission-critical environments. This resilience makes it ideal for professional studios, broadcast setups, and live audio systems.
Multiple connectivity options further enhance its flexibility. Two DB25 connectors provide access to eight channels of AES3 I/O per connector, while two-channel AES3 and S/PDIF connections are available via XLR and RCA ports respectively.
For system-wide synchronization, the unit includes Word Clock I/O on BNC connectors. External devices operating at different sample rates can be easily integrated thanks to onboard sample rate conversion on every input. DARS input via XLR is also supported for precise digital clock referencing.
